Barbeque sauces evolved even more in the american colonies incorporating local ingredients like molasses, vinegar and various spices. Ketchup 1 cup

Brown sugar ½ cup

Vinegar or apple cider vinegar ¼

Molasses 2 tbsp

Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp

Dijon mustard 1 tbsp

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp salt

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp black pepper powder

Note : You can customize your sauce by adding honey or sugar for sweetness, more cayenne pepper if you like it spicy or liquid smoke to impart a smoky flavor. if you don't have liquid smoke, use burnt charcoal following "dhungaar" technique.


Chipotle
